Here’s a quick guide to getting a portrait commissioned!

I’d love to chat and provide more details about my portraits and the process. Whether you have questions about your reference photos, how I work, delivery options, or framing, I’m here to help!

Can’t wait to hear from you!

  • Get in touch – use the contact form or email your enquiry or order
  • Send some photos – add some photos to your message or email or send them separately later
  • Details – I’ll get straight back to you to confirm or discuss your requirements
  • Composition – I’ll email one or more digital compositions or ‘mock-ups’ for your approval or to help you choose
  • Quote – I’ll email a formal quote listing all details including size, medium, composition and price and then add your commission to my waiting list
  • Painting – I’ll start work on your portrait when you reach the top of my list
  • Approval – when your portrait is completed I’ll email a scan or photo for your approval
  • Adjustments – I’ll make any adjustments required
  • Invoice – when you are completely happy I’ll email your invoice which can be paid online with any debit or credit card or by Paypal or BACS
  • Payment – when payment has been received, your portrait will be safely packaged ready for posting
  • Delivery – your portrait will be posted; tracked and insured, for delivery within 2 days to UK addresses
  • Feedback – I’d be delighted if you’d leave a review or feedback. It’s always lovely to see a photo your portrait when it’s been framed and hung too.
